Why i love breastfeeding

It's been 23months i breastfeed my son, how time flies, because i really love and enjoy the moment. Breastfeeding is best for my baby and it's good for my health, too. Breastfeeding has all the nutrients my baby needs to thrive for the first six months of life, even more, through childhood to adult life. The antibodies which protect an infant from birth, to the exclusive nutrients in mother's milk which have been shown to prevent a number of childhood diseases. Even in dental health breastfeed has so many benefits,, Subhanallah.

The other most important thing for me that it can develops a special emotional relationship and bonding with my son, even makes me feel good, the hormones produced during nursing have an endorphin that effect  giving me a relaxed feeling.. wow isn't it?

Alhamdulillah,, Allah has give the most miracle thing in my body for my son, Breastfeeding is the proudest thing i ever do.

because i love you

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:233) - Advantages of Breastfeeding and the Divine Recommendation

And the mothers should suckle their children for two whole years for him who desires to make complete the time of suckling; and their maintenance and their clothing must be-- borne by the father according to usage; no soul shall have imposed upon it a duty but to the extent of its capacity; neither shall a mother be made to suffer harm on account of her child, nor a father on account of his child, and a similar duty (devolves) on the (father's) heir, but if both desire weaning by mutual consent and counsel, there is no blame on them, and if you wish to engage a wet-nurse for your children, there is no blame on you so long as you pay what you promised for according to usage; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah and know that Allah sees what you do.
M.H.Shakir's Quran Translation (http://miraculousquran.blogspot.com)

This is a Quranic command for the mothers to suckle (breastfeed) their children for a period of two years. The wisdom of breastfeeding the children has been instilled in the Muslims through this Qur'anic revelation. Those who followed this Qur'anic command raised mentally and physically healthy Muslim children. Breast-feeding has many advantages.
1-Advantages for the baby
2-Advantages for the mother

- Happy breastfeeding mommies-
